   Choose the card for the moment

   Save The Date is the announcement, with both names rising between two rules and leafy sprigs opening beside them. Monogram Crest settles two initials inside a drawn ring, which suits a film opener. Venue Card and RSVP Card carry the practical details later on. Arch Reveal is a more decorative alternative.

   Enter names and date

   Save The Date uses Label for the small top line, Title for the names and Subtitle for the date. Letter spacing and Thickness adjust the type and rules, and Count changes how leafy the sprigs are. Monogram Crest takes the initials in Title. Venue Card takes Title, Subtitle and Labels for time, address and dress code.

   Size it for how it is watched

   These run 4 or 5 seconds by default, and can extend to 30. Add a little Duration if the date needs to linger when sent in a message. Make a 9:16 version for messaging and a 4:5 version for a feed post. Position shifts a card off center if you lay it over footage.

   Export a file guests can open

   All five presets ship on a solid background, so MP4 is the easy choice for sending to guests. To set a monogram over your ceremony footage, switch Background to Transparent. MP4 has no alpha, so use a PNG sequence for Premiere Pro or After Effects, or WebM with alpha for CapCut.

   Send it or add it to the film

   Send the MP4 straight into a group chat or attach it to a message. For the film itself, in Premiere Pro, choose File > Import, select the first PNG frame of the monogram, tick Image Sequence, and place it above the opening shot. In CapCut, add the WebM as an overlay and pinch it to size.

Three tips that make it look intentional

• Set both names and the date first, then pick the font: long names need a lighter weight to stay legible.
• Keep the palette to two colors and one metallic accent so the cards feel like one set.
• Export at 9:16 for messaging and stories, and 16:9 for the opening of the wedding film.

Three things people get wrong

• Choosing the font before typing the names. A long pair of names needs a lighter weight, and the decision is hard to undo later.
