Lower thirds: name tags that look like a broadcast

How do you add a lower third to a video?
Pick a lower third preset, type the name and role, set your brand colors and font, then export a transparent WebM. Drop it on the track above your interview footage, position it in the lower left, and trim it to the seconds where the speaker is introduced.
A lower third is the fastest credibility upgrade an interview can get. These presets slide a bar, split a line or pop a box behind a name, and they read cleanly at phone size as well as on a monitor.
